Sure. (keep in mind this is all subject to change)

Jump drives will require energy to use (per jump). You will hit some key (currently 'j') to initiate the jump and will be presented with a jump timer ('j' can also cancel the jump after it has been initiated). During this timer, you will not be able to fire your weapons or the jump will be canceled. If at the end of the timer you do not have enough energy to jump, it will continue to wait until one of two things happens -- you regain enough energy to complete the jump, or you do something to cancel the jump (by either firing or hitting 'j' again).

I was just talking to my friend about ZV and SDO, i was wondering if you where going to keep some aspects of the round system that was the base for SDO. For example with mining missions. You could also have some them grant special items to the winning team, kind of like arms races, so the first team to 1000 of x type of ore gains access to gigawatt lasers, or new ship drives, etc. This added to individual missions would make awesome game play.

Also I don't know if its possible in individual missions, but having scalable items, so the better you do in some aspects the better the item will be. So if you do a mission where you get stronger shields, the less you die during the mission the stronger the end item will make you shields. Granted I think item type missions should be rare and take a while to complete, but would add an awesome level to how the ships develop.

thats the end of my fantasy for today :-P

First time forum poster, huge former SDO fan. I have been playing this game for about a week now, and am really enjoying it. Keep up the great work, and bring on the ore missions.

Fair enough ;) I will give a teaser and say that I have added over 6000 lines of code have been added for our next feature... This patch is bigger than any other patch we have released. It will be as big of an achievement as our initial release of the game! More details to come
